Training schedule:

1st Day:

  1. Brief review about the project: its aims and objectives.Epidemiological data collection in the field.
  2. Preparation of field sample collection and outbreak investigation kit.
  3. Washing and sterilization of glass and plastic wares.
  4. Laboratory reagents preparation.

2nd Day:

  1. Bacterial Media Preparation.
  2. Sample collection, transportation and processing for bacteriological isolation.
  3. Bacterial isolation methods.
  4. Collection & transportation of material for parasitic disease investigation

3rd Day:

  1. Staining & colony morphology of bacterial isolate.
  2. Blood smear examination for haemoparasites detection
  3. Antibiotic Sensitivity Test procedure and its importance.
  4. Diagnosis of Brucellosis and Mastitis

4th Day:

  1. Collection, transportation and processing of materials for viral disease investigation
  2. Serological tests for different viral diseases.
  3. Importance of Post Mortem examination and practical demonstration and dispatch.

5th Day:

  1. Collection and transportation of samples for helminthic and protozoal disease investigation.
  2. Faecal examination.
  3. Collection of blood from different farm animals and birds.

6th Day:

  1. Feedback, Interactive session, Valedictory function and certificate distribution.
