Dr Baldev R Gulati, born in 1966, has graduated in Veterinary and Animal Sciences from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India in 1988 and was awarded two gold medals. He completed his Masters and PhD in Veterinary Microbiology in 1991 and 1997, respectively from the same university. He has done post-doctoral associateship from University of Minnesota, USA during 2000-2001. Dr Gulati worked as Associate Professor in Veterinary Microbiology at CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar for 10 years and joined National Research Centre on Equines, as Senior Scientist in April 2003. He was subsequently selected as Principal Scientist in 2009.He is specialised in Rotaviruses, Japanese encephalitis (JE), Equine herpesvirus 1 (EHV1) and Isolation and characterization of equine mesenchymal stem cells from amniotic fluid.
